Camera try out
R had the chance to borrow a Panasonic G2 for the evening. This is because we are hoping to save birthday/Christmas money for a new camera – going out and about together and taking photos is proving a good way of getting some quality time together, which is much needed as working weird hours means we don’t see much of each other otherwise.
As I didn’t get home from work till 10pm, we only had a play indoors for a short while, but all the same, I was amazed. It’s so different to the point and shoot we have.
I am so used to having to stick the camera right next to the thing I want to photograph in macro, but of course with this camera I could focus from a distance, have the main picture and the detail:
In the meantime R was playing with the white balance:
We both liked the camera, with its live view and touch screen, although R says the previous model has a better lens – it was fun to play with it all the same!
