I spent a good bit of time yanking up mallow at the people’s garden this morning, and the sensory beds looked a lot better for it. I always enjoy being there, not just for the gardening but also for the people, both volunteers and visitors – its an inspiration to many, including two permaculture visitors today.
If you want to catch up with my latest post for the people’s garden go here: http://thepeoplescommunitygarden.blogspot.com/ and if you would like to know more about permaculture, I suggest starting here: http://permaculture.org.uk/
Personally my little corner of living lightly will continue tomorrow when I go back up to the garden to cover my autumn carrots and winter cabbage in a bit of fleece.
