The good and the ugly
It’s the second burnt out car in the park and it’s only January. I have already mentioned the first, and I didn’t think there would be another so soon.
This doesn’t help the reputation of the part of Ipswich I live in. But the very visible ugliness of a burnt out car really isn’t the whole story of our area. There is light here too – and not just in the new spring growth I also photographed.
There are people here who really care. Like my friend A doing her best to show the love of God in practical as well as spiritual ways, not just to her little flock, but to everyone in her parish, regardless of whether they have thought about Jesus or not. Her passionate compassion in spite of some mighty hard times of her own is a real thing of beauty.
I hope people may see the good in our corner of the world and not the ugly.
